YND Group Meeting – Change of Venue

With apparently very short notice to staff and customers as of 1st June 2018 ‘The Bay Horse’ is closed.  To tide us over a quick decision was made to use ‘The Dusty Miller’ close to the motorway just outside Barlborough for the June, July and August meetings. Click here for more details.

Your May Bulletin is now online

May bulletin cover

By this time the Bulletin should have fallen through letterboxes and it is now also up on the website for your perusal. As usual, it is jam-packed with interesting articles and pictures including exciting news about this year’s AGM.

Any new model from a manufacturer is always the subject of much speculation and this is certainly the case for the potential next generation Morgan Three-Wheeler. We have now been given, courtesy of Autocar magazine, a tantalising glimpse of one being tested (front cover). Asking more questions than it answers, the one thing we can say for certain is that it has three wheels – so, watch this space!

Happy reading!

Brand New Service for Members

Valuation Rubber Stamp a6959reInsurance Valuation Service

The Club is to offer a new Insurance Valuation Service for its members.

It will cover all models from the latest 5-Speeders to cars dating from 1910  (1910 – 1952). See below;

The Club will, from now on, be providing free vehicle valuations for insurance ‘agreed value’ purposes.  Obtaining these valuations has sometimes been difficult, especially for owners of older vehicles that require specialist knowledge to properly understand valuations, but also for 5-Speeder owners who do not live close to a Morgan dealer.

The service is available to all club members and will require an application form to be downloaded from the club website and then subsequently forwarded to the appropriate valuers along with six recent photographs showing various views of the car.

Some insurance brokers require their own valuation form to be completed and these should be sent to the relevant valuer along with the application form and photographs.

For members who have difficulty accessing a computer, please contact the ‘Valuations’ club officer whose contact details are printed at the front of the Bulletin.

Further information regarding the scheme can be found in the Club Insurance Valuations section in the Members Area where you can also download the application form.  All instructions will be on the form.
