Building on the success of last year’s Test & Taster Day, Austin Smith has organised another meet at Curborough Sprint Course. And this year, the Test & Taster Day coincides with one of the club’s Breakfast Meetings organised by Ian Parkinson. You’re welcome to come along and watch, even if you’re not taking part in the Taster Day.
-
- The sprint track action is likely to start at 10am (or maybe 9.30am) and run throughout the day.
- Garage 56 will be demonstrating their 5 Speeder upgrades and Phil Bleazey will be demonstrating his 5 Speeder drivetrain upgrades
- Along with a number of well known MTWC racers such as Chas Reynolds and Tom Cowley, a trio of 5 Speeder racers, John Scruton, Rob Pike and Austin Smith will be undertaking pre season testing and no doubt having some fun on and off the track.
- The event coincides with a monthly Breakfast meeting at Curborough, so the cafe will be open selling a tasty selection of breakfast goodies

Saturday Breakfast Meet to coincide with Curborough Test & Taster Day.
Normally meets on the first Saturday of every month but contact the Group Organiser if you want to confirm.
Contact the G.O. for details
Arrive at 10 a.m. for a 10:30 start. If you arrive earlier, bacon and sausage sandwiches will be available before the start and lunch can be booked for your return. Rooms are available at the Inn on the Green if you want to stay overnight and, last year, a couple of crews stayed there for the Saturday night and reported that the price was reasonable and the dinner and breakfast were up to the required standard I don’t know whether we will be storming the Long Mynd this year but, even if we don’t, the scenery is always worth admiring.
