Dave Young
We’re very sad to report that Dave Young, a long time club member died unexpectedly on Friday 16th March. Until quite recently, Dave was the Ford Sales Officer for the club. Here’s a note from Stephen Clark:
I have to report the shocking news that Dave Young died suddenly on Friday night.
Dave had been a committed Morgan enthusiast and member of the club for many years and he owned and rebuilt several Morgans including his current very special Blackburne Family Aero which was nearing completion. Far more importantly he was a respected and innately good-humoured and generous friend to everyone he met; it was always a pleasure to be in his company and his down-to-earth banter was guaranteed to lift the spirits. Dave will be missed by many, many people within the club and far beyond; Six Bells meetings will never be quite the same without him.
Our deepest sympathy is extended to Trish and Dave’s family.
