Three Super Aeros were entered in three races. Sue Darbyshire took both her Super Aeros along, Iain Stewart was out on track as well.
Iain entered Race 1 – Short Scratch Race for Pre-war Cars – and was up against some formidable opposition, gaining a creditable 10th place from 19 starters.
Sue entered her road-going Super Aero in Race 2 – Standard & Modified pre-war Sports Cars – and came second to a very much on form Andrew Mitchell in his 1.5 litre HRG, trailing by just over a second after 8 laps.
Sue and Iain were both entered in Race 3 – Vintage Racing Cars Race – finishing third and fourth respectively in this 10 lap race. Iain trailed Sue by less than 5 seconds at the end of 10 laps, with a best lap time of just under 80mph.
Results and lap times are all further down the page.
