Morgan 3-Wheeler A Buyer’s Guide

If you are thinking about buying a modern morgan three wheeler (5-speeder), M3W owner and MTWC member Andrew Warren has now produced a buyers’ guide to help you.

Written with advice and help from other owners, It is now available to read on the website’s new 5-speeder page  https://www.mtwc.co.uk/news-post/

The M3W 5-speeder was designed and produced in record time and there were many recorded problems in the early cars. Over time there have been many factory upgrades, these, together with owner/specialist, fixes, and modifications have helped to improved the cars, turning them into far more drivable and reliable machines. This guide brings together all this information making it an essential read for the prospective buyer or owner.

Mogmatch needs YOU! Buy borrow, sell affordably or lend – read on

Mogmatch Update

Since its initiation, Mogmatch has helped to find temporary or permanent new homes for several Morgans.

Pleasingly, the majority have gone to younger members, thus helping to secure the future of the Club.

Some were restoration projects and all the sales have been at very affordable prices.

I’m pleased that members are continuing to send me information about cars they are looking to pass on

but perhaps prefer not to advertise.

Surprisingly, what I’m lacking at the moment is potential new owners/custodians.

Please get in touch if you’re interested in buying/selling/borrowing or loaning a Morgan within the

scheme. [email protected] or for more information take a look at Mogmatch under Members Area then Members Pages.

Time for a run out in Herefordshire?

Compass1)   Herefordshire Compass Ride 5th July to 30th August

 From Dave Anscombe

Geoff McGladdery of the VMCC has been in touch and provided me with details of an opportunity to enjoy a drive in your Morgan in a suitably socially distanced way.

‘Yesterday should have marked the 5th running of Herefordshire on the Edge and it was disappointing to have to cancel it, but all is not lost. Three of our section members, Mike Bertenshaw, Roger Bibbings and Chris Lawton-Smith, all HOTE regulars, have developed an exciting new ride to fill the hole – The Herefordshire Compass Ride.

All the details you need to enter the event are attached and hopefully will need no further explanation. You can ride the event on any day between July 5th and August 30th . I hope you will choose to enter and I look forward to hearing of your exploits.

Kind regards

Geoff McGladdery – Chairman, Herefordshire & Mid-Wales VMCC’
