November Bulletin’s arrived

Your November Bulletin is now online

Ooops, the virus is on the march again so you’re going to need something to read!

This month we’ve got the usuCover November 2020al blend of official Club reports and announcements, historical, technical, other reports and what I can only call confessions (from Jim Baker. We’ve all done it but he has the humility to own up). Add to this groups reporting some soon to be stilled stirrings and an abundant floggery.

Keep safe wherever you are and keep tackling those Morgan jobs you know you can’t ignore for ever.

Zoom! AGM Meeting 2020.

In a historic first for the club, with the help of modern technology, this year’s AGM was held on Zoom. Although a different take on it,  this allowed many members from both the UK and Overseas to participate, watch and listen for the first time.

If you are one of the members that didn’t see it, or want a repeat viewing, it is now available for you to watch here on the website, just click on the link and it will take you straight there, you must however be logged in to access it.

Enjoy!

Updates to the Digital Library

The Club’s Librarian has been busy again. Not only has he scanned and cleaned 1400 library photos which are being uploaded to the website. He’s also been scanning more documents for our digital library. Club members who are registered on the website can log in and browse our extensive library:

Club Library copy

Among these is Maskells instruction book for the Matchless engines – MX, MX2 and MX4. You can buy a copy from Club Regalia but in the event that they’re out of stock, you can browse a copy online.

Updates to the Digital Library

Club members will know that our long-serving librarian, Pete Thompson, has retired from the post and we’re looking for a successor. Pete will be happy to show any interested parties what’s involved. As a club, we’re very much indebted to Pete for the work he’s done in cataloguing, scanning, cleaning and uploading hundreds of documents to the website. Thank you Pete!
