Winter Driving Tests at Bicester Heritage

Just one club member (team) entered this year’s event. Gary and Barbara Caroline got up at the crack of dawn to get to Bicester in time. Was it worth it? Read on and see.

The Words

To quote the VSCC:

Driving Tests are a fun and challenging discipline and often seen as a great introduction to motor sport for the younger Member, promoting car control and accuracy in an entertaining and friendly surrounding. So embrace the wintery conditions and come and test your vintage driving skills with us this December.

One of our club’s younger(?) members braved the weather, drove to the event, competed and drove home again.

Gary and Barbara Caroline made the trip from Surrey in their 3 speeder J.A.P. Super Sports. No pots or trophies this time, Gary got a bit lost on one of the tests.

The Course

Sorry, we don’t have maps of the various sections.

The Photos
