The Midland Automobile Club once again hosted the VSCC’s annual Hill Climb at Shelsley Walsh, the world’s oldest Motorsport venue.
Three Morgan Three Wheeler Club members took part, each in a different class. And what a day they had!
- Mike Sythes won Class 2, Standard and Modified Sports Cars 751-1100cc Unsupercharged and up to 750cc S/C, with a time of 45.88 secs, nearly 5 seconds ahead of his nearest rival and faster than his time last year.
- Sue Darbyshire won Class 3, Standard and Modified Sports Cars 1100-1500cc Unsupercharged and up to 1100cc S/C, in her road-going Morgan in a time of 40.56 secs, 4 seconds ahead of her nearest rival.
- Alistair Rew claimed 2nd Vintage in Class 14, Pre 1941 Racing Cars 1101-1500cc, in a time of 40.63 secs.
