The VSCC’s most prestigious Seaman Memorial Trophies Meeting went to Norfolk in 2014 bringing their racing season to another fitting finale. They used the venue’s SN200 circuit with its blend of long, fast straights and technical, sweeping bends, which suited the cars so well.

The Words:

The Morgan Three Wheeler Club was represented by three members and their teams.

From Rose Knutton

Duncan Wood and Iain Stewart were in Race 6, the main vintage Seaman Trophy race. Duncan was on the front row of the grid and came first with Iain maintaining his position, finishing sixth.

Sue did well in race 7, a scratch race for pre-war cars, coming first in class and third overall.

Iain came 4th, winning his class in another scratch race (event 9) and Duncan & Sue battled it out in the short handicap Race 10 where Sue came a very close second and Duncan came in third from the back of the grid.

All in all a great day for the three wheelers. Well done Duncan!
