This years Classic Nostalgia is going to be one of the most celebrated events of the year, as the Midland Automobile Club recognises two amazing moments from its 111 years of history at the Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb.

One of these events will almost certainly never be repeated, when Hans Joachim Stuck follows in his father’s footsteps and drives the iconic Type C Auto Union 80 years on.

Rallying played its part in the clubs history and 30 years on we pay tribute to Group B rallying with 30 rally cars in attendance, most of which will be in action across the two days.”

There were 3 Morgan Three Wheelers at the event plus a number of Morgan derivatives including the Freikaiserwagen recently resurrected by Steve Lister and Mike Sythes.

Greg Bibby, Alistair Rew and Bill Tuer all entered the event; they were in a class of their own – literally! Bill won the class with a superb best time of 36.96 seconds
