Mogspares
The Mogspares operation is a key service to members. Don’t forget to take advantage of this valuable service to help finish your rebuild or to keep your Morgan Three Wheeler running.
The Mogspares Team
Mogspares is run by a team of volunteer members of the club, headed by the Mogspares co-ordinator. There’s a panel of technical experts too and they’re involved in developing new Mogspares items as well as keeping on top of existing spares. This often requires new drawings and patterns and some of these too are made in-house*.
At the sharp end, there are sales officers for J.A.P./Anzani engines and Miscellaneous, Matchless engines, Transmission and Ford Engines all backed up by the Financial Administrator.

Patterns
Patterns are needed for new and old spares and some of these are made “in-house”. One team member, Ian Haynes, has made patterns for a number of products including Matchless Rocker Boxes and Steering Arms. Ian uses state of the art techniques to produce very detailed patterns which are the basis for lost wax, or investment, casting. He even uses a 3D printer for some prototyping.
