Once again Ron Clements comes up with some interesting disaster pictures. |

The Piston took a fair pummelling considering Ron stopped immediately. |

Luckily ? the Valve Stem stayed in the Guide as it was bent anyway. |

The inquest has already started. |

As has the rebuild, you do not see the Clements Boys off the road for long. |

The Piston is scrap. |

The likely reason is the valve guide broke up over a period of a few weeks as Ron had noticed a change in performance. As more of the guide got hotter and broke away then eventually the stem of the valve was unsupported and it bent / broke.That is unless you know better ? |
