Classic Wings and Wheels
More a social event than a sporting occasion. Sue Darbyshire was invited to display her Super Aero and her driving prowess on a Figure-of-Eight course.
Here’s what Sue had to say: “Flywheel was a lovely wings and wheels event where we all got the chance to show off on a double figure of eight course with pre war aeroplanes flying overhead. As a demonstration it is one of the nicest events of the year because they look after the drivers extremely well, keeping us well fed and watered all weekend.”
