MTWC @ Donington Historic Festival

Members had a great day out at Donington over the holiday weekend. A club stand organised for the three days by Andrew Warren, attracted both five speeders as well as more traditional oldies, including Charles Smith’s recently restored F-type.

Making its debut at the event was the new, very tall, Club banner, recently commissioned by Charles, the bee’s knees of banners! Well made and designed, it flew the flag well for the MTWC. .

There was plenty of racing to watch, club displays to wander round and some fantastic cars to drool over in the paddock. The highlight for me, was the afternoon demonstration laps of two F1 cars, the noise was incredible!
