The IOM Experience and Virtual Meet

On Thursday 21st May around 45 Morgan Three Wheelers Old and New would have been arriving in Liverpool for an overnight stay prior to sailing to Douglas on Friday morning for a week on the Isle of Man.
Like many other events Covid 19 put paid to that.
However, the success of the recent Albert Ball virtual meet on Zoom with 21 attendees led to many of our regulars asking for more meets.
So we have decided to each day post on the MTWC Facebook page, and also TalkMorgan Forum, where each day’s visits would have been. Next Wednesday, 27th, would have been the Gala Dinner evening at the hotel, with the usual frivolities that take place at our events. So, we are having an IOM Virtual Meet on that evening where questions will be asked about each day’s visits to see who has been paying attention and who not. Of course there will be prizes and I dare say a booby prize or two.
The Virtual meet is open to all who are entered for the rescheduled IOM Holiday of 13th August 2021 and your invite will be with you shortly.
For a start, the picture above shows a family awaiting their ferry to the Isle of Man in 1980. The little boy peering excitedly at dad taking the picture, clearly got the Morgan bug. He is entered for next year’s trip, driving his vintage Morgan, who is he ?
