The Canadian Pavilion at Bisley was the location for Saturday’s Brooklands group Christmas Dinner (yes, I know Christmas was 2 months ago). 40 members gathered for what was a fun and relaxing dinner with many staying over in this historic venue. The pavilion was built by the Canadian Government at the turn of the previous century for their citizens competing at the Bisley firing range. All the materials, much of the furniture and ornaments came from Canada so the pavilion has a great atmosphere. It has also been used recently for films about the Queen and Winston Churchill. My thanks go to Carol and Trevor Seymour for an unforgettable evening and the Full English on the morning after.
