The Morgan Three-Wheeler Club LibraryThe Morgan Three-Wheeler Club Library is a unique source of reference material for all matters relating to these remarkable vehicles. What the Library containsThe main library collection includes books, brochures, handbooks, on Morgans or Morgan related companies (suppliers of engines, carburetors, magnetos, etc.). There is a huge range of engineering drawings, plus factory records & correspondence and other miscellaneous historical and technical literature. These amount to over 1000 items, housed in 26 ring binders, plus many large format plans and drawings housed separately. A new 100-page Main Library catalogue is being prepared and should be available soon, in the mean time please contact the Librarian for the current availability of specific items. PhotographsThere is an extensive photographic collection with over 1500 pre-1960 pictures (over 500 of these are pre-1930), housed in 10 large albums arranged in chronological order. There will be more albums but here is a sample of photographs taken in the factory in 1927. Articles and BulletinsThere are over 750 period magazine articles on Morgan or Morgan-related topics from 1905 to the 1960’s (most are pre-war). These are detailed in an illustrated, 100-page Periodicals Catalogue currently available. There are two complete sets of MTWC Bulletins from the 1945 to date. Registrations IndexThe library maintains a Registrations Index that currently has about 81000 entries to help members trace the history of their cars. This lists all known Morgan registrations and is cross referenced on computer to the rest of the library collection. This means that, given a registration, if your car appears on any of the thousands of photographs, MTWC Bulletins, magazine articles etc. No matter how old, the item can be located instantly. It may also be possible through Club records and local authority archives to identify the original or other past owners of a particular car. A Registrations Index printout and copies of any related items can be provided for a small charge. To date the library has provided print-outs for over 150 Morgans, most of which have revealed new information of maybe a previously unseen photograph. The MTWC Library is here to help YOU, the Morgan enthusiast to research, restore, maintain, drive, rally or race, but most important of all, to ENJOY Morgans! Finally
